Exhibit Submission - Virtual Competition
How will exhibits be submitted?
All exhibits will be submitted using the NHD-CA Exhibit Template.
Photos of your exhibit along with text and links to any video/audio will be pasted into the template and saved as a pdf.
Once you are done you will upload your Exhibit Template pdf by the April 24th deadline.
What if my exhibit is at school and I can’t get it?
You don’t need your actual exhibit. All you need is a picture of the exhibit and each section.
What if I don’t have a picture of my exhibit?
You can recreate your exhibit by inserting your images and text to our Google Draw template. Save as a JPEG and insert into your Exhibit Template file. Crop this image to create your images for the other slides.
What if I want to improve my exhibit?
We encourage you to improve your exhibit. It is okay if the text and photos you include in your template do not match what is shown in the photos. The judges will only refer to/judge the text you include in your Exhibit Template as your “final” version.
If you’ve significantly changed the images or design of your exhibit, we encourage you to recreate it in Google Draw using this template.
What if I made my exhibit with a computer program? Do I have to print my PDFs and build an actual exhibit?
You do not have to print your PDFs and rebuild your exhibit. Instead, save them as JPEGs and insert these into the NHD-CA Exhibit Template in place of photos.
What if I don’t have an image of my exhibit with the bottom?
Your exhibit image does not have to include the bottom, but you do need to include an image of the bottom of your exhibit on the correct slide.
